Our Ratnagiri Trip !

Image
When one reads Ratnagiri, he/she is immediately filled with thoughts of enjoying on the beaches with friends, amazing weather, and Konkani food. Well, our trip was filled with activities even more interesting than the ones mentioned here. Since we had been to Lonavala the day before, I was sceptical about travelling another 350 kms for a family trip. 2 nights 3 days stay at Nasik and more... It was my friends sisters wedding and so the plan was made.We would go on 6th Jan ,attend the reception on the 7th and then leave in the afternoon the next day.As simple as it sounds , it was filled with some of the most memorable memories and experiences. During that time we took some pictures and scanned the entire place. We reached the entrance of the tour 5 minutes prior. The first part of the tour was the grape crushing machines. We were shown two of them , one of which was not in use today . We were then taken to a room where the chemica...

We packed our bags on the very night christmas ended and left for our sojourn to the  Hotel Girivihar This hotel has always been our second home for  several reasons. My grandfather used to take my father to this place in every vacation ,may it be  Diwali ,Christmas or a month long vacation after the final exams. The people here are and always will be very friendly and would always make us feel at home. The market is at a very close proximity from the hotel and the food is good.I think that completes all the things one needs to feel relaxed on a vacation. DAY 2 : The hotel has a very serene looking temple at the entrance. Just in front of that , is the dining hall which serves very delicious food. The highlight of this hotel is a place called the Cool Point where people gather during ...
